im looking to buy a motorcycle, but im 18 and kind of worried about expenses since ill be going off to college in 6 months. im looking at an 04 fz6 or a ninja 500. i really want the fz6 but dont want to be paying a ton in insurance. just wondering which one would be cheaper in insurance. I'm thinking to change from 2 stroke to 4 stroke. After some reading maybe a V-twin around 40-50hp, should be sufficient for my daily cruise around the town, and sometimes touring for about 1500 miles. i usually ride a cbr 1000rr in the states and id like to tour around north and east thailand starting in bkk and finishing up in bkk ,im not interested in smalll scooters ,i need a proper bike like a ninja 650 or a big touring bike or something thats not going to make me fall asleep with bore... I was trying to figure out what year & model this gas tank is from. I'm not entirely sure it's a Harley at all.
